• Receiving apologies.
• Approving the minutes of the 2023 AGM, held on 22 May 2024.
• Receiving the Annual Report and signed Financial Review Statements for the year ending 31 December 2024.
• Any resolutions, including the adoption of the new IIA NZ Constitution and appointment of the reviewer.
• Election for the vacancies on the National Board.
• General Business for which due notice has been given.

Important Update: 2025 AGM Voting Process – Two-Stage Approach

Please note that there has been a change to the AGM voting process from previous years. The updated process will take place in two stages:

Stage 1: Board Elections (Pre-AGM Voting)

The IIA NZ Board Elections 2025 Candidate Profiles and Voting Form was released on Monday, 28 April 2025, and voting will close at 5 pm on Wednesday, 14 May 2025.

All financial members are invited to review the candidate profiles and submit their Board Election vote during this period.

Stage 2: AGM Proxy Voting for Resolutions

If you are attending the AGM but wish to streamline your vote, or if you are unable to attend the AGM on Wednesday, 21 May 2025, the voting form now includes a proxy option. This allows you to appoint either the IIA NZ Chairperson or another current financial member to vote on your behalf for the remaining AGM agenda items.

Financial members attending the IIA NZ 2025 AGM in person will vote on any remaining matters during the meeting itself.

To assist with the flow of the AGM please send any questions relating to the Annual Report or Financial Statements to admin@iianz.org.nz prior to the close of business on Monday 12 May 2025. These will be answered during the AGM. This does not preclude the asking of questions at the AGM.

In accordance with section 9.2.iv of the IIA NZ current By Laws and Rules. Should a member wish to bring before the AGM any notice of motion, or business not relating to the ordinary business of The Institute shall give notice in writing to the IIA NZ office not less than fourteen (14) calendar days before the day of the meeting. Such items must be received by the IIA NZ National office before 12 May 2025.

AGM registrations are now open. If you wish to attend the AGM online, please ensure you register before Monday 19 May 2025, to allow the IIA NZ National Office sufficient time to send the online link to you. For those attending the AGM in person, registrations will remain open until the start of the AGM on Wednesday 21 May, at midday, where you will be able to register manually if you haven't already registered.

IIA NZ Board Election Voting opens on 28 April 2025, and closes on Wednesday 14 May 2025, at 5 pm.
